Accountant (P/T) - Based Cheshire East Salary dep on experience - Immediate start - Great working environment

RHA Recruitment Solutions is working with a small consultancy firm, who offer detailed services across a number of different business types, including but not limited to business start ups, charities, family businesses , sole traders etc

They are committed to providing outstanding services to their clients and are looking for a dedicated part-time Accountant to join their team.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

  • Handle payroll processing and related activities.

  • Provide support during audits and tax filings.

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

  • Collaborate with other team members to improve financial processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a consultancy or similar environment.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) are preferred.
