RHA Recruitment Solutions is seeking a talented Part 2 Qualified Architect to join a dynamic, family run architectural firm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading design projects, collaborating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Whilst the clients business has historically been focused on the residential sector, they are keen to further explore commercial project opportunities
Responsibilities
Develop and present architectural design concepts, plans, and specifications for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, engineers, and other professionals to understand project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct site visits, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project viability and identify potential challenges.
Prepare detailed construction drawings, renderings, and 3D models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
Ensure that designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and client presentations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building materials, and construction techniques.
Work with the team to meet daily tasks, teamwork is a key requirement
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of the Part 2 examination of the Architects Registration Board (ARB) or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an architectural firm or related environment.
Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit & SketchUp.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, consultants, and team members.
Knowledge of UK Building Codes, Regulations, and sustainable design principles.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Whilst, initially this position offers approx. 20hrs per week, this will grow in time with the possibility of a long term contract or permanent position, for the successful candidate.
