As part of a close, yet small team, you will help keep control of all production materials, to ensure that stock levels are maintained to allow production teams to meet delivery targets.
Utilsing Sage, you will maintain stock levels, whilst conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers, you will develop strong working relationships, helping to negotiate contracts whilst maintaining a quality of service.
Utilsing a developing knowledge of the market, you will forecast price trends, procuring at the right time and understanding the impact on future business activities.
This opportunity is offered in either a part time or full time position so could suit someone with other priorities/2nd job or someone keen to create a career in procurement and is able to commit to full time hrs.
