Due to an increase in demand for their products and services, RHA Recruitment Solutions is working with an established manufacturing business, as they look to add to their design team.
The role, which is heavily focused on CAD Design, will also incorporate a secondary role which involves checking the designs and drawings produced by the team.
CAD Designer
Utilising your knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and/or Solidworks (experience of AutoCAD also advantageous) you will work on the improvement of current designs as well as generating 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings for new products.
As part of a larger team, these designs will be in line with client demands and to allow for accurate manufacture of component parts, whilst working within commercial and legislative constraints.
Engineering Drawings Quality Control
Utilsing your design experience, gained within an engineering / manufacturing environment, you will check drawings to ensure they are consistent with the manufacturing requirement and contain the necessary detail.
You will have a strong understanding of typical fabrication practices / materials (metal, timber, plastics) along with the concept of using MRP/ERP systems, coupled with excellent attention to detail.

Working hours are 8am - 4.30pm, Mon - Fri and comes with 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, with other company benefits, including bonus, pension and an employee benefit scheme.
