RHA Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for a Control Panel Wireperson, interested in a permanent position, based in Warrington.
As part of an established team and working for a company who operate across multiple sectors within the UK and into Europe, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical control panels used in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
Primary duties include, but not limited to:
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to understand the layout of the control panel and the wiring connections required.
Assembling and mounting electrical components, such as circuit breakers, relays, and terminal blocks, onto the control panel backplate.
Wiring the control panel according to the schematics, using various techniques and tools to ensure proper connections and routing of wires.
Testing the control panel to ensure that it functions as designed, and making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
Collaborating with other members of the project team, such as engineers, designers, and project managers, to ensure that the control panel meets all project requirements and specifications.
Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the assembly or testing process, and developing solutions to ensure that the control panel meets the necessary quality standards.
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of electrical systems and components, as well as experience working with various types of wiring and assembly techniques.
You will possess good communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additionally, you must be able to work safely, following all relevant safety procedures and regulations.
Whilst most of the time will be spent in the facility in Warrington, occasional site visits may be requested, so an element of flexibility is required.
