Electrical Design Engineers (LV) - Scotland - Immediate start - £ neg, depending on experience


RHA Recruitment Solutions is keen t o speak with Electrical Design Engineers interested in taking a lead role in a range of UK and overseas projects, ensuring all of the LV design elements and procurement of materials are completed, in line with agreed timescales.


Working alongside experienced Engineers, whilst offering guidance to more junior members of the design team, you will help co-ordinate the flow of information to aid project delivery, as well as offering technical assistance on projects, both pre and post sale.


Duties will include, but not be limited to:-

  • Monitor and plan projects, including commercial file and progress reports, capturing change and identifying any risks.

  • Accept accountability for LV design and engineering procedures.

  • Complete the production of electrical design drawings and calculations from clients brief, technical standards and best practice.

  • Complete technical reviews of electrical design drawings and calculations.

  • Conduct technical reviews of estimates, proposals and tenders, as deemed necessary.

You must be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of Control Systems with high levels of technical ability alongside knowledge of system engineering and project delivery processes.


Ideally you will hold, or be working towards a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a professional membership (IET/EngTech or IEng) however industry experience as an LV Design Engineer is required, as is hands on experience of Power Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies.
