Goods-In Coordinator
RHA Recruitment Solutions, working alongside an expanding business who have established themselves as a provider of a range of accurate electrical and mechanical accurate testing equipment are keen to speak to dynamic and highly motivated individuals interested in work as a Goods-In Coordinator.
As the Goods-In Coordinator you will be responsible for the efficient coordination of goods arriving into the factory, ensuring deliveries are scheduled to ensure a smooth flow of work for the production team throughout the day.
You will have a good eye for detail to ensure that goods received accurately match items ordered.
Additionally, you will accurately book goods in and efficiently manage the collection or delivery of small items to customers within the factory and offices.
Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Coordinate and book in deliveries
Communicate with internal and external suppliers and colleagues to prioritise tasks Ensure customer requirements are met as efficiently as possible within planned resources
Check and inspect delivered goods against paperwork to accuracy and quality levels
Coordinate the collection or delivery of small items
Maintain manual and digital records of transactions
Production of correct invoices
Assist with production as and when required
Undertake stocktaking activities as directed and keep stock control systems up to date
Key Requirements:
Proven experience of Goods-In services in a production environment
Knowledge of stores and stock control procedures
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable with manual handling and lifting of goods.
Good general IT skills
Hours: 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and to Midday on Friday.
Salary Negotiable, depending upon experience.
