RHA Recruitment Solutions Ltd is currently working with an established and renown Distribution company as they look to dd to their vehicle maintenance team.
Working four nights a week (Mon-Thurs), you will join the night shift and take responsibility for the maintenance of over 100 HGV's, plus trailers and Shunters, working to an extremely high standard to ensure the fleet meet the standards set out by DVSA Guidelines and company procedures.
Duties will include, but not limited to:-
Routine safety inspections, servicing and repairs on vehicles and trailers
Record all work carried out, accurately filling in maintenance and repair sheets
Carry out MOT's on vehicles, as required
Inspect, service and repair mechanical end electrical defects
Offer a methodical and quality focus to problem solving
Be happy to help the maintenance team, on non vehicle parts, barriers, fixtures etc
Specific knowledge of Volvo vehicles would be beneficial but not essential
You will need to be able to demonstrate experience in a similar capacity, working to strict deadlines with a company with large fleets.
