RHA Recruitment have exceptional opportunities for proven Cost Managers looking to join established transportation teams, within an industry recognised Consultancy.
Working on the most complex and ambitious infrastructure projects the UK has to offer, the role will involve, but not limited to:- delivery of multiple commissions, team management and business growth, working with external and internal partners whilst supporting the Head of Cost Management in building industry leading teams.
As well as delivering and wining work with both new and existing clients, you will be required to help stimulate growth of the team, acting as mentor to others and driving the performance of the business forward.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate expertise in cost management services across the infrastructure sector, be that rail, highways, water and aviation with the ability to inspire others. You will have an excellent understanding of industry benchmarks, best practices, work breakdown structures and methods of measurements (RMM, MMHW etc).
Commercially astute, you will have full working knowledge of NEC Forms of Contract with the ability to develop and understand performance measurements of projects using Earned Value Management (EVM) and similar techniques. Technically minded, you will also have the knowledge to challenge engineering teams and identify cost efficient design solutions.
