RHA Recruitment Solutions is keen to speak to individuals interested in becoming part of the Senior Transportation Cost and Estimating management team, responsible for the growth of the existing team through mentoring and guidance, whilst building long standing business relationships with a broad client base.
The role will incorporate project delivery, team management and business growth, but specifically responsible for the delivery of multiple commissions whilst supporting the Head of Cost Management and Head of Discipline in recruitment to allow for an excellent service to the client base.
You skills will allow the enhancement of the cost management capability, utilising cost management software including Power-Bi, PRISM and Oracle.
Your career to date will have seen you work in cost management positions across the infrastructure sector (incl Rail, Highways, Aviation, Water and/or Energy) and will have provided a full commercial understanding of the construction industry, NEC Forms of Contract in particular
An inspirational leader, you will possess an excellent understanding of industry benchmarking / best practice, work breakdown structures and methods of measurement (RMM, MMHW etc) with the technical ability to challenge the engineering teams and identify cost effective design solutions.
You will offer a strategic approach, identifying continuous development opportunities whilst monitoring and managing the cost management activities and associated expenditure.
In addition, you will be expected to monitor and control compliances with all key metrics including but not limited to:-
Project Health Checks
Utilisation
PSR Completion
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead projects on behalf of clients, experience gained within an consultancy environment and ideally hold RICS, ICE, AACE and/or ACostE, or similar.
