Are you a dynamic people person with the ability to identify and manage the sales and business development process for a customer base across the UK?
As Sales / Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue
growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies whilst also managing existing business.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited too:-
Conducting market research to identify potential customers and business opportunities
Promoting the company's products/services and generating new sales leads
Building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients
Developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets
Training and coaching the technical sales team on product knowledge and sales techniques
Analysing sales data and forecasting future sales projections
Collaborating with cross-functional teams like marketing, finance, and operations
Negotiating and finalising contracts with clients
Attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand business connections.
The role requires a strong technical background combined with excellent sales, communication, and leadership skills.
Typical qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a technical field like engineering or computer science, along with prior experience in technical sales or business development roles.
The ability to understand complex technical products/services and convey their value proposition to clients is crucial for success in this position.
