Due to continued demand for the outstanding service levels my clint offers, RHA Recruitment Solutions is keen to speak to Small Works Project / Contracts Manager based in and around the South Cheshire, North Staffs areas.
Working for a regional contractor, responsible for overseeing and managing small construction projects or maintenance works across different industry sectors, including but not limited too:- schools, residential, commercial and industrial.
Key responsibilities include:-
Managing Projects
Oversee the delivery of multiple small construction projects or maintenance works simultaneously
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Contract Management
Manage and negotiate contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors for small works
Review and share contract redlines, facilitate discussions for mutual agreement
Ensure contract compliance and enforce contractual obligations
Team Management
Lead and manage a team of site managers and/or engineers working on small projects
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to the team
Coordination and Communication
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Negotiate pricing, insurance requirements, and other terms with clients and vendors
Resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the project
Administrative Tasks
Maintain accurate project documentation and records
Track project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of small construction projects or maintenance works for a regional business, where flexibility and the willingness to go the extra mile are required, whilst managing client relationships, contracts, and project teams effectively.
