Whilst previous CAD experience is preferred, it is not essential as this opportunity will provide full training, with the backing of a strong management structure and established Design team.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:-
Produce foundation and planning drawings
Provide full working drawings for building fabrication and erection
Negotiation of purchasing costs with suppliers
Interpretation of customer briefs and design requirements
Work with the inhouse team and external consultants
Attend site visits, as required
Offer technical advise to customers and colleagues
Work within H&S policies
You will be a logical thinker with strong IT and numeracy skills, offer strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
As this is a customer facing role and interaction with customers across the country will be a big part of the role, your written and verbal communication skills will need to be strong.
